Students can get rewards in exchange for good grades on a report card!

Looking for a way to reward your child for getting good grades on their report card? Not only do they deserve a big pat on the back, but they can also score some sweet rewards and other perks for their good grades!

IMPORTANT NOTE: The following promotions vary by location, so be sure to verify that your local restaurant or business is participating before loading the kids in the car to claim their good-grade rewards!

Applebees Kids Meal corndog and fries

1. Score a FREE kids meal at Applebee’s.

Students 12 & under who excel in academics or other teacher-defined areas can earn a free Kid’s Meal at Applebee’s with an “A is for Applebee’s” award card, given out by teachers.

Teachers receive and distribute the cards at their discretion, even in schools without traditional grading. The only way to get a card is through a teacher—feel free to share this program with your child’s teacher using the link provided.


2. Some banks pay cash for good report cards. 

Many banks and insurance companies reward good grades with cash (up to $10 per report card) or special discounts. Check with your local providers or visit their websites to learn more.

3. Get a free scoop at select Baskin-Robbins locations.

Many Baskin-Robbins locations will give away free scoops of ice cream for good grades! Keep in mind that franchises are independently owned, so the offers and qualifying grades vary by location. 


4. Some Burger King restaurants reward good grades with free food!

Students may be able to score a free hamburger or ice cream cone for scoring 100% on a test. This offer is limited to one free hamburger per week per child – including homeschooling families! Contact your local restaurant to verify participation.

5. Many car insurance companies offer discounts for good grades.

Adding a young driver to your auto insurance can be costly—averaging over $2,700/year. Fortunately, many insurers offer good student discounts, typically around 4%.

6. Good grades may get you a free order of chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-A.

Some Chick-fil-A restaurants reward good grades (As and Bs) with a free 8-piece order of chicken nuggets. This practice varies by location, so check in with your local restaurant to see if they’re participating.


7. Enjoy an entire meal on the house at Jason’s Deli.

Jason’s Deli rewards students ages 1-12 for good grades, good efforts, or good deeds through its Kid Cash program. Kid Cash is valid only at participating Jason’s Deli restaurants and is good for dine-in meals only. Just complete this form and your local sales manager will contact you within 5-7 days.


8. Marco’s Pizza treats A students (even at college) to a free pizza.

In years past, participating Marco’s Pizza locations offered kindergarten through college students a free one-topping pizza for earning an A on their report cards. This perk may still be in effect. Contact your local restaurant to verify participation.

9. Chuck E. Cheese gives free tokens for your superstar.

Chuck E. Cheese offers free printable rewards like the Super Student Award! Fill one out at home, and your child can redeem it for 10 free game tokens (limit one per child per day).

10. Get a yummy freebie from The Melting Pot’s Great Grades Club.

The Melting Pot offers a FREE kids’ entree (12 & under) or chocolate fondue (13+) for good grades with the purchase of an adult entree. Participation varies, so check with your local location.

11. Coldstone Creamery may also reward good grades with free ice cream.

Some Coldstone locations offer free ice cream to kids who bring in good grades on a report card, but it varies. Check with your local store to confirm!


12. Your local IHOP may reward kids for good grades on their report card.

While participation varies by location, many IHOP restaurants reward kids for their good grades. Some locations offer a free kids’ meal, while others treat good students to a free short stack. Contact your local IHOP to verify its participation.


13. Dairy Queen is known to offer free ice cream for good grades + a new way to earn! 

At select Dairy Queen locations, students may receive a FREE ice cream as a reward for good grades – just bring in their report card!

14. Good students can earn a yummy Krispy Kreme report card reward!

At participating Krispy Kreme locations, students may be able to get up to six free original glazed doughnuts or a 3-pack of their choice of donuts for good grades on their report card! Be sure to contact your local doughnut shop to verify participation. You may be expected to show a copy of your report card to get the deal.


15. Good students get a FREE Peter Piper Pizza.

The Peter Piper Student Incentive Program rewards students at a nearby location with free treats like a personal pizza, soft serve, or root beer float for academic achievements. For more details, be sure to call your local location before heading in!

16. Get a free McDonald’s Happy Meal or Value Meal for an outstanding report card. 

Students with straight A’s may get a free Happy Meal (K–5) or Value Meal (6–12) at McDonald’s when they bring their report cards. Offers vary, so call your local restaurant to confirm.

17. Students with A’s and B’s get treated at Wendy’s.

Participating Wendy’s locations may offer students a free treat when they show the cashier a report card with As and Bs. Be sure to contact your local restaurant to verify participation before making a special trip for your freebie.

18. Sonic Drive-In may offer free menu items for honor roll or perfect attendance. 

Some Sonic Drive-Ins offer free menu item coupons for good behavior, attendance, or birthdays through schools and organizations. You can also submit a request on the Sonic website.

Participating Texas Roadhouse locations may offer kids a FREE meal by presenting a report card with good grades to the manager! Just be sure to show it before you order.
