This super handy 5-gallon plastic bucket is a great find for all kinds of projects around the house or job site. It’s got a sturdy carry handle and reinforced rings for extra strength, so it’s perfect for hauling water, mixing paint, or just keeping your tools and supplies organized.

Now that it comes with a lid, it’s even more useful! You can use it to store things that need to stay sealed and protected, like pet food, bird seed, bulk pantry items, cleaning supplies, garden soil, or even camping gear. The lid helps keep everything fresh, dry, and pest-free.

It also works great as a makeshift stool, and thanks to its tapered design, it stacks up easily when not in use.

You might be able to get them free at the bakery. If they frost cakes there, frosting buckets are 5 gallons. My local grocery store usually has some they are throwing out and gives them away. Currently growing veggies in the ones I got.

LOVE your recycled idea Erika!!! I was just saying today, I’d like a raised garden this summer. This is even better 🙂
