Siri Might’ve Been Listening — Now Apple Owes You Up to $100!
In the past 10 years, have you owned or purchased a Siri-enabled device? If so, then this is a must read!
If you have a Siri-enabled device (think iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, MacBook, iMac, HomePod, iPod touch, or Apple TV) and you experienced an unintended Siri activation during a confidential or private communication between September 17, 2014, and December 31, 2024, you may be entitled to up to a $20 settlement per device via the Lopez Voice Assistant Settlement.
Hip Tip: Check your inbox/spam/trash for an email titled “Lopez Voice Assistant Class Action Settlement” from the email address “[email protected]” as this email contains your unique Claimant Identification Code and Confirmation Code that you’ll need to use to submit your claim.
Follow these steps if you received an email with a claimant code:
- Head here to begin submitting your claim
- Enter the Claimant ID Code and Confirmation Code found in the email (as mentioned above) and click Login
- Complete the contact information
- Indicate the number of Siri Devices for which you are submitting the claim – there is a limit of 5 devices that can be claimed.
- Select the preferred payment method – either eCheck or Direct Deposit.
- For each Siri Device that you are submitting a claim, you will then be required to attest under penalty of perjury that you meet the settlement criteria.
- Claims must be submitted online by no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on July 2, 2025.

- Claims must be submitted online by no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on July 2, 2025.
Is it just me, or is anyone else reluctant to give out bank info for a direct deposit? I have not idea what an Echeck is, but I can’t imagine with the e before the word it too would be a direct deposit of sorts.
